CREATIVE COPY DIRECTOR | FREELANCE 2000 - Present
Projects range from defining a brand's voice and content strategy to conceptualizing campaigns, crafting copy for websites, catalogs, books, packaging, brochures, direct mail, email campaigns, blog posts, social media, company & product names.

BRAND EDITORIAL DIRECTOR | SERENA & LILY  SAUSALITO, CA 2007 – 2020
Worked for over a decade with founders, CEO, marketing team, and creative department to shape and define the narrative of an emerging brand. Duties included defining brand voice and vision, identifying storytelling opportunities, providing high level creative direction, launching new products and businesses, providing direction and content for email campaigns, writing blog, site features, all catalogs, product names/descriptions, print advertising, public relations materials, in-store print collateral and brand partnership materials.

GHOSTWRITER + SITCOM WRITER | ‘THE BAD GIRL’S GUIDE’ SF + LA, CA SPRING 2005
I was invited to join the writing staff to help punch up dialogue for the 30-minute UPN sitcom based on the popular book series, The Bad Girl’s Guides, published by Chronicle Books. In the years prior, I assisted the author on writing and concepts for all book-related projects.

SENIOR COPYWRITER  GAP, INC  SAN FRANCISCO, CA  1997 – 2000   
Managed the bulk of written elements for gap.com, including direct email campaigns, web editorials, product names & descriptions, online ad campaigns and in-store promotional pieces. Worked closely with Marketing VP and team to conceive of and execute seasonal campaigns. Managed small online editorial staff.

ETC Over the years, I’ve participated in numerous classes and workshops in short fiction, memoir, and screenwriting, including San Francisco Writer's Studio, UCLA Writer’s Program, LA Screenwriter's Bootcamp. My screenplays and teleplays garnered some attention with awards at various screenwriting competitions: Scriptapalooza (first place) and Austin Film Festival (finalist).
